Khald allah mukahu on top, Jalal al din Muhammad Akbar Badshah Ghazi in centre, zarb dar al saltanat Jaunpur,  The mint name can be clearly read as “Jaunpur” but the epithet “Dar us Sultanat” is not applied to this town. A curious variation and Unique until now. No other example of any square Jaunpur mohur on Coin Archives, Zeno or any other publication, very fine+, Very Rare. Although the coin is type KM 112, the calligraphic square is normally set at an angle to the square creating a diamond shape in the central field. In this coin it is set to right angle creating a square.

Shah Jahan (AH 1037-1068, 1628-1658 AD), Silver Nisar ½ Rupee, 5.70 gms, Lahore Mint, Purnoor Couplet, Coronation Issue, AH 1037, Obv. Zar e Nisar chu mah kard dahr ra Purnoor, Rev. za naam-e-Shah Jahan Badshah dar Lahore sana 1, KM #A238.1, about very fine, few pcs known, extremely rare. Note: This remarkably large-flan ½ Rupee Nisar of the Lahore mint Beautifuly commemorates the imperial festivities of Shah Jahan’s accession, continuing a revered numismatic tradition aimed at bringing auspicious blessings to his reign. Although Nisar coinage is regularly encountered from mints such as Agra and Shahjahanabad, this Couplet Nisar from Lahore represents an exceptional rarity.

Chahamanas of Sakambhari, Vigraharaja IV, (1150-1164 AD), Gold Dinar, 4.06 gms, Lord Rama type, Obv. Lord Rama, nimbate, holding arrow in right hand, bow (without string and with little curvature) in his left hand, standing amongst the trees and vines, with the hamsa bird to the left & lotus on right, legends ‘sri rama’ Rev. Nagari legends ‘srimad vigraharaja deva’, Deyell 213a, very fine, extremely rare. This Coin Depicts the earliest known depiction of Lord Rama in any Numismatic Evidence. Vigraharaja IV (c. 1150–1164 CE), also known as Visaladeva, was one of the greatest rulers of the Chahamana (Chauhan) dynasty of Shakambhari and Ajmer. During his reign, the Chauhan kingdom expanded significantly, extending its influence across large parts of present-day Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi. He successfully campaigned against neighbouring kingdoms and resisted incursions from the Ghaznavids, establishing the Chahamanas as the dominant power in north-western India. 

A patron of learning and culture, Vigraharaja transformed Ajayameru (Ajmer) into a major political and literary centre. He is credited with commissioning important public buildings and supporting Sanskrit scholarship. His reign is regarded as the zenith of Chauhan power before the time of his famous nephew, Prithviraj III (Prithviraj Chauhan). 

Numismatically, Vigraharaja is renowned for issuing an exceptionally rare gold dinar depicting Lord Rama holding a bow and arrow, with the legend “Śrī Rāma” on the obverse and “Śrīmad Vigraharāja Deva” on the reverse. These coins are among the most iconic and historically significant Hindu gold issues of medieval India.

No. V9 012517, Printed in Nasik, (KJ & RR # 3.9.2A), Graded by PMG as 45, Minor Paper pulls, Toning, Extremely Rare. Note: This is a rare and gorgeous banknote in its original colours and a well centered watermark. This quite rare denomination is seldom offered. They were released for 7 different circles of British India with 2 signatories. V8 is the second prefix for this variety. Mild stains at the tip of an edge and small tears do not detract from its overall appearance. A key note in both the British India series and the King George V realm.

(5 Notes) All Graded by PMG as 30, 30, 50, 45, 25, Very Rare as a set. Indian notes were printed and overprinted at Nasik for Legal Tender in Pakistan. Issued in 1948. A graded straight grade set is hardly offered anywhere else, very difficult to find.
