Gurjara Prathiharas, Bhoja I (836-885 AD), Silver Dramma, 3.57 gms, Obverse: King standing to right assuming the face of a boar thereby representing the Adivaraha (Avatar of Vishnu), His left leg on a lion to right (out of flan), A circular orb (Earth?) in front, Reverse: Legend in Nagari reading in two lines as ‘Shrimada(di)/Varaha’, Indo-Sassanian fire altar below, Decorations around, It has been suggested that the lion below the foot of Adivaraha represents the Rashtrakutas who were enemies of the Pratiharas, fine, scarce.
