Nagari legend "Maharajadhiraja Mir Jam Maharao Shri Madansinghji Sawai Bahadur" around, Value, Kutch, and Vikram Samvat (VS) Date in centre, Rev. Bhuj fortress with Jai Hind (Victory for India) in nagari, Superb lustre, proof-like surface, Graded by PCGS as MS65, extremely rare. Note: This was the final coin issue authorized by the Kutch ruler, Madansinghji, minted just prior to the state's accession to the Indian Union in 1948. It is the sole known example from any Indian Princely State to commemorate India's Independence, distinguished by the prominent 'Jai Hind' inscription. This specific specimen is remarkable as one of the finest known examples, exhibiting exceptional original luster, surface quality, and strike definition.
