King seated on a ceremonial adorned horse to right wearing necklace & armlets and his sash flowing out from behind holding a sword in his right hand with Brahmi legend ‘Prithi)ViTaLaMa(barasasikumaragupto)’ around, Rev. Nimbate Goddess seated on a wicker stool her ears neck arm, wrist & waist are bejewelled holding a lotus with a long stalk, left hand resting on waist, Brahmi legend on the right field ‘Ajita Mahendrah’ which means Invincible Mahendra(king), All within a dotted border, TOTGE # Class II, page 388, extremely fine, extremely rare type. Note: This particular variety, ‘Goddess with Lotus’ is an extremely rare type listed as RRR in ‘Treasure of the Gupta Empire’ by S. Shivlee, similar specimen was sold in Marudhar Auction #52 for 14Lakhs on October 2025.
