Note: Unique feature of Gujarat Sultanate’s coinage are these so-called ‘Pedigree’ Tankas, these coins bear the names of rulers’ forebears back to the beginning of the dynasty. Hence the legends are Ahmad Shah bin(son of) Muhammad Shah bin(son of) Muzaffar Shah. These coins were probably struck as Accession Commemoratives, hence all are extremely rare.
