Kushanas, Vasudeva I (c. 192-225 AD), Gold Dinar, 7.77 gms, Obv. diademed king, crowned and nimbate, standing facing the left, sacrificing over an altar, holding a trident in his left hand, a long sword held with belt, Bactrian legend ‘þAONANOþABA-ZOΔηO KOþANO’ (King of Kings Vasudeva the Kushan) around the field, Rev. Shiva nimbate, standing facing, holding trident and diadem, bull (Nandi) standing behind to left, with tamgha to upper right and legend ‘Ohpo’ (OESHO) divided in front of nandi’s head, Gobl MK # 503, very fine+, very rare.
