Kushans, Huvishka (151-190 AD), Nana Type, Gold Quarter Dinar, Nana (Goddess of Royalty, Fertility, Wisdom, and Water), Obv. nimbate and helmeted bust of the king emerging from clouds, wearing mustache, heavy sideburns, and prominent wart on cheek, round helmet with crest ornament, twin-pronged forehead ornament, crescent on side, and a jeweled rim, diadem with triangular tie and double ladder-like ribbons to right, and loose-fitting tunic with jeweled collar, flames emanating from right shoulder, scepter-mace in right hand, sword hilt in left with Greek legend'ÞAONANOÞAO O-OHÞKI KOÞANO' around, Rev. Nana (ИAИAÞAO) standing facing, turned right, nimbate head right surmounted by crescent, spiked hair held by diadem knotted at back with ribbons to left, right knee bent as if taking a step, wearing sleeved full-length loose fitting robe, transverse scepter with lion protome in right hand at waist, bowl in left; tamgha with crossbar in right field, dotted border, MK 165, Gem Uncirculated, Proof like finish surface, extremely rare.
