    Muhammad Shah (AH 1131-1161, 1719-1748 AD), Nasir ud-din Type, Silver Rupee, 11.66 gms, Jahangirnagar Mint, RY Ahd, Obv. Nasir ud din Muhammad Shah Badshah Ghazi, Rev. sana ahad julus, zarb Jahangirnagar completely visible at the bottom, Unlisted,very fine+, exceedingly rare. Note: Chosen to ascend the Mughal throne by the influential Sayyid brothers, Muhammad Shah was formally enthroned at the historic Red Fort on 29th September 1719 AD. Upon his coronation, he assumed the grand imperial title "Abu Al-Fatah Nasir-ud-din Roshan Akhtar Muhammad Shah." This exceptionally rare coin was minted specifically as a Royal Coronation issue to commemorate his accession. The obverse features numismatic legends excerpted from his imperial title, reading "Nasir ud din Muhammad Shah Badshah Ghazi," while the reverse clearly bears the regnal year inscription "Sana Ahad Julus" (Year One of the Accession). Unlisted and entirely unrecorded in major numismatic reference catalogues, this highly significant historical coin is offered in India for the second time.
