Ancient, Guptas, Chandragupta II (375-415 AD), Archer type, Gold Dinara, Obverse: standing facing, nimbate head left, wearing short curly hair, tight-fitting cap with strings of pearl-diadems at back, tight-fitting Kushana style clothing, and jeweled armbands, arrow in right hand, grounded bow in left; Garuda standard to left, Chandra to inner right, Reverse: Goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, seated in the padmasana posture on a lotus, diadem in right hand, lotus stalk in left; tamgha to left, Shivlee # Class III A.3, very fine, very rare.
