Tripura, Amara Manikya with Queen Amravati, (1577-1586 AD), Silver tanka, 10.67 gms, commemorating the 'Conquest of Sylhet', Sake 1503 (AD 1581), Obv: Lion facing left, standard above, bead below lion's mouth, date below; all within a circle and outer border of double arches with pellets., Rev: Bangla legend ‘Srihatte Vijayi/Sri Sri yutamara Manikya Deva Sri/Amaravati Devyau in four lines, within square with ornamented borders, On this tanka the legends on reverse starts with ‘Srihatte Vijayi’ - winning of Sylhet, and also the date on this coin corresponds to the battle that is Sake 1503 (AD 1581), R&B-T 172, very fine, very rare.
