Indo Greek, Agathocles (c. 185-175 BC), Copper Drachma, OBV: Lion without mane standing right, with Greek legend in two lines, REV: Female deity walking left holding flower in right hand with Brahmi legend ’[Rajane] Agathuklayasa’. (Bop & Rahman # 156-160). Very Fine. Rare. This is the earliest depiction of goddess Lakshmi with king's name written in Brahmi and also earliest Greek coins aimed at an Indian region with a Hindu deity.
